Kelly Ann Upton Jameson

Kelly A. Upton Jameson, 46, of Vermont, IL formerly of Clarendon Hills, IL passed away on Thursday July 4, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1978 in Hinsdale, IL to Wesley P. Upton of Downers Grove, IL and Polly Upton of Macomb, IL. Kelly is survived by her parents; brother Charles W. "Chuck" Upton of Willowbrook, IL; Big Brothers Big Sisters(tm) Niyesha T. Booker of Macomb, IL; partner and love Joshua Whitney Mercer of Vermont, IL, his children Sydney, Noah, Jonas and Ben Mercer of Vermont, IL; and special friends Kelly met on her travels throughout the United States, Europe, Africa, Mexico and Colombia. Kelly Graduated from Hinsdale Central High School in 1996 before attending Western Illinois University graduating in 2000 with a BA in Psychology. Kelly lived a very active life and enjoyed helping others. Before moving to Vermont, IL Kelly lived in Medellin, Colombia where she volunteered teaching English and helped feed displaced families from Venezuela and fought for justice of her dear friend Kelly Knight. Cremation Rites have been accorded by Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be on Sunday July 21, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Park Place of Macomb. Memorial Service to be announced at a later date to be held in her hometown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Birthright of Macomb or to the McDonough County Humane Society.
