Also surviving are five children, Michelle (Troy) Martin of Quincy, IL; Jerry Lee (Tiffany) Shepler Jr. of Bowen, IL; Daniel Hinton of Macomb, IL; Michael (Cari) Hinton of Castle Rock, CO; Janel (Justin) Gruber of Denver, CO; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Cindy Diehl of Keithsburg, IL; Deanna (Bubby) Tippie of Keithsburg, IL; Fay Hand of New Boston, IL and sister-in-law Tammy (Dave) Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael Timothy Adams.
Jane worked at Haeger Potteries for more than 15 years. She later worked at the YMCA and especially enjoyed her time working with the Meals on Wheels program. She was the "Boss" at home and ran a tight ship, she was a bit of a perfectionist especially when it came to cleaning. Jane was funny and could always bring a smile with her special sense of humor.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Hudson will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Illinois Cancer Cares. Please sign the guestbook and leave condolences at www.dodsworthfh.com
