Randy Lee Teel

Randy Lee Teel, 69, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away at 10:24 a.m. on September 10, 2025. He was born on February 21, 1956, in Macomb to Willard Lee and Ramona Irene (Fisher) Teel. He married Wen Hong "Wendy" Zhang, who survives. Also surviving, his brother, Douglas (Taunya) Teel of Roseville, Illinois, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Duane Lee Teel. After graduating from Industry High School, Randy worked at NTN Bower before joining the City of Macomb Public Works Department. He liked to stay busy and was quite the carpenter. Randy always had several projects going on and could work through any problem that came up. He was very organized and liked to keep things neat and clean. Randy loved his God and read the Bible nightly. He was a very kind man almost to a fault and a deeply caring and loving husband. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Eddy officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Macomb Salvation Army.
