Stacey Wombles Obituary
Stacey Shane Wombles, age 55, of Quincy, died on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 5:50 am in her home.
She was born on April 7, 1970, a daughter of Donald and Peggy Franks Keller. She married Todd Wombles on July 29, 2016 in Quincy, Illinois. He survives.
Stacey previously worked at Knapheide Manufacturing and spent many years involved in Quincy's food industry, most recently as the kitchen manager at O'Shea's Bar and Grill. She had a passion for crafting, drawing, and painting, and was a truly talented cook and baker. She also enjoyed taking bike rides, playing pool and darts.
Stacey had a spirited and feisty personality. If you knew her, you knew she was a true spitfire, yet she was always thinking of others. She put others before herself and had a gift for making people feel welcome.
Family was the center of her world-especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She cherished making crafts, taking the grandkids to the swimming pool, and doing anything where she could spend time with her grandchildren.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, Todd, include two children, Brittney (Shane Kuhlmeier) Werneth of Quincy, and Brandon (Troy Hayes) Werneth of Houston, MO; a step-son, Jordan Stovall; a step-daughter, Taylor Stovall; six grandchildren, Owen Mason Meyers, Kamery Stovall, Kaelin Stovall, Vince Wombles, Easton Kuhlmeier, and Phoenix Stovall; three brothers, Ron (Wendy) Keller, Kevin Keller, and Buddy (fiancé Bridget Ghoulston) Keller; two step-sisters, Stacey VanCamp and Amy VanCamp; a step-brother, Greg VanCamp; her step-father, Gary VanCamp; her step-mother-in-law, Bird Wombles; six sisters-in-law, Tammy Sprinkle, Tiffany (Jeff McMillan) Minor, Kelly Wombles, Tracey Motley, Beth (Mark) Hofmann, and Krista (Chris) Schindler; a brother-in-law, Craig Wombles; and many nieces and nephews.
