Stephen Lunt Obituary Stephen Lee Lunt, 76, of Hamilton, IL, passed away Monday, April 7th, 2025 at his home.
Steve was born June 26, 1948, in Keokuk, IA, the Son of Glenn L Lunt and Mary Lucille Bennett Lunt.
Steve was a lifelong resident of Hamilton. He played football and was a member of the FFA graduating from Hamilton High School in 1966. On May 28th,1967 he married Connie Turner of Hamilton and had three children but later divorced. Steve started to learn the trade of autobody repair at the age of 17 working for others before starting his own business out of his home garage. In the early 1990s he moved his business into town where he and his son T.J. opened T&S Autobody and Sales. Steve loved farming and enjoyed raising hogs, cattle, and raising row crops. He also served as a volunteer firefighter in Hamilton.
Steve is survived by his daughter Stephanie (James) Aldridge of Columbia, MO; Stacy Lunt of Hamilton, IL; daughter in law Leighann Lunt of Hamilton, IL.; and four grandchildren, Breanna and Bryce Aldridge, Atleigh and Emrie Lunt.
Steve was preceded in death by his son T.J., sister Patricia Welch and his parents Glenn and Lucille Lunt.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning, April 12, 2025, from 9:00 11:00 AM at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM at the Elvaston Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Elvaston Community Church. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
