David N. Adams

HAVERHILL – David N. Adams, 62, of Haverhill passed away on Friday, February 14 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Born in Haverhill on August 12, 1962 David was the son of Nahum J. and Mary Alice (Brown) Adams, Jr. He was a graduate of Whittier Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1980 and then went on to work in the automotive trade as a master mechanic. He later was known for being a jack of all trades and working as a master carpenter for Bly Builders, Simonds, and lastly Skofield Builders. Growing up David liked to ski and hunt, and enjoyed camping, boating and fishing. He even skied Tuckerman's Ravine and spent time with his family on camping trips to sunset lake when he was a kid. David enjoyed football games, watching the Patriots and going on the occasional trip to Foxwoods. He was a dog lover, especially his Jack and Lola. David is survived by his wife Deborah M. (Miller) Adams of Haverhill, his daughters Jessica Adams and her husband Randy Ouellette, Ashley Adams and her husband Heath Sousa, Melissa Torres and her husband Carlitos Torres, and Angela Gonyea and her husband Jarrod Gonyea. He also leaves behind his sisters Doreen Sciuto and her husband Jim, Lynne Brooks and her husband Mark, Lisa Pond and her husband Kevin; and his brother Gary Adams and Linda Rollins; as well as his grandchildren Madison Ouellette, Ethan Torres, Elena Gonyea, Gavin Gonyea, and Mackenzie Gonyea. David was predeceased by his parents Mary Alice (Brown) Adams, Nahum Joseph Adams, Jr., and his brother Dennis Adams. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, February 20 from 4PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
