Janet (Sanville) "Sanville" Duff

Janet (Sanville) Duff, 92, of Haverhill, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at her daughter's residence in Haverhill, MA. She was born in Haverhill, MA on December 8, 1932, daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Harrigan) Sanville. She was educated at Saint James High School, Haverhill, MA and Saint Elizabeth's School of Nursing, Boston, MA. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for 37 years at the Hale Hospital, Haverhill, MA. She was a devout Catholic and prayed the Devotion to Saint Anthony her entire adult life. She was a parishioner of Sacred Hearts Parish for 52 years. She was happiest when surrounded by her husband and large family. She enjoyed all Boston sports, especially the NE Patriots. Janet is predeceased by her husband Edward J. Duff who passed away in 1996. She will be dearly missed by her children: Maureen Duff, Patricia Portnoy and her husband Paul, Janet Duff-Lewis and her husband Palmer all of Haverhill, Ellen Duff-Kareores of Boston and Timothy Duff and his wife Cathy of Naples, FL, her 12 grandchildren, Katelyn, Kevin, Timothy, Sarah, Benjamin, Alex, Daniel, Ashley, Kayla, Catherine, William, and Michael and 11 beautiful great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Bradford ~ Haverhill.
