Paul Reardon Obituary

Paul Reardon Obituary METHUEN - Paul B. Reardon, 74, longtime Methuen resident, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 3 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones. Paul was born in Methuen, MA on October 15, 1949 to William Reardon and Mildred Kelley. He graduated from Methuen High School in 1967, and he then went on to serve in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed in California. After that he attended college, and he became a Mechanical Engineer by profession at Analogic. Paul was passionate about many things. He loved drawing and painting. His green thumb could make any garden shine. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He was an avid hiker, having hiked all 48 of the 4000-foot mountains in the White Mountains before his 50th birthday. He loved going on little adventures with his wife to explore beaches and mountains. There was never a doubt about how much he loved his grandsons, Jacoby and Mason. He never missed a chance to watch them play their favorite sports, go fishing with them or take them shopping. Paul will be remembered for his funny sense of humor and down to earth personality. He was a kind, caring and smart man. He will be missed by many. His laughter will forever echo in our hearts. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Doris (Pinet); his daughter Donna Baril of Haverhill, MA, her husband Ray Baril, and his grandsons, Jacoby and Mason. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Kelley of Methuen, MA; his brother William Reardon of Salem, NH, and his wife, Barbara; his brother Sean Kelley of Methuen, MA and his wife Jennifer; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, William Reardon, and his brother, Michael Reardon. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Service with U.S. Navy Honors will begin at 2:30 PM. Paul was a great man, I was a close friend of his daughter, and growing up without a Father figure in my life Paul was one of the Very Few Men I wanted to be like growing up later in life as a father to my children. Paul along with Doris thanks for accepting me into your lives back then. Rest Easy Mr. Reardon

Doris so sorry for your loss I worked at Analogic with Paul for many years and had plenty of laughs together. He once put some lunch meat in my office before I left for vacation when I got back my office was full of fly's looking up I saw Paul at the doorway laughing.
