Zoraida Baez

HAVERHILL – Zoraida Baez, 60, of Haverhill passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2025. Zoraida was born in Comerio, PR on July 20, 1964 to Julio and Crispiliana Baez. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1984 after which she worked locally in retail. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a dietary aide at Whittier Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She loved traveling and spending time with family; and cooking and listening to music. She was known for having the best smile. Zoraida is survived by her companion of many years Jose A. Perez of Haverhill, and their daughters Yarissa Perez and her partner Gabriel Maldonado of Methuen, and Nicole Perez and her partner Michael Borowski of Haverhill. She also leaves behind her siblings Carmen Aida Baez and her husband Raul Fuentes of Puerto Rico, Justina Arriaga and husband David of Haverhill, Maria Pagan of Puerto Rico, Carmen Baez and significant other Primitivo Vazquez of Puerto Rico, Ana Lidia Maisonet and husband Feliciano of Haverhill, Otilia Matos of New Jersey, Elizabeth Baez and husband Santos Rodriguez of Haverhill, Hipolita Baez of Haverhill, Aurea Esther Baez and husband Edgardo Alvardo of Texas, and Jose Antonio Baez, of Haverhill. She was also a proud grandma to Jenaiah Maldonado, Angeliyah Maldonado, Mya Borowski, Madden Borowski, and Maliah Borowski all of Haverhill, and had many nieces and nephews who she adored as her own who treated her as a mom. She was the "cool aunt" !! Zoraida was predeceased by her parents Crispiliana Baez and Julio Baez and her brothers, Israel Baez and Julio Baez. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 21 from 4PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
