Charlotte D. Siebers, age 81, formerly of Quincy, died on Monday, January 6, 2025, in Town and Country, MO. She was born on April 1, 1943, in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph and Alice (Price) Willer. She married Robert Siebers on July 11, 1964, in Quincy, IL. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2014.
Charlotte was the second employee hired by Kirlin's, Inc., at age 16 and went on to become a store manager and gift buyer later in her career. She retired in March of 2008 after nearly 50 years of service to the company and then went on to work part-time at Cheryl Loatsch Studio for 13 years. Charlotte was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church where she counted collections, participated in the Perpetual Adoration Chapel, and delivered Holy Communion to residents of Bickford Senior Living.
Charlotte was truly selfless, providing unwavering care to her husband Bob during his years of illness. She was a loyal friend, maintaining some friendships for over 70 years. Charlotte enjoyed reading, taking walks, and participating in group exercise classes. She also greatly loved visiting her grandchildren and her best friend, Auggie (Scott and Heather's mini goldendoodle).
Charlotte is survived by her children: Douglas Siebers of Indianapolis, IN, Kristine Siebers of Colorado Springs, CO, and Scott Siebers and his wife Heather of Ballwin, MO; grandchildren: Anna Siebers and Ava Siebers both of Ballwin, MO and Lucas Siebers of Indianapolis, IN. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings: Elwood, Ralph, and Ted Willer, Mary Alice Miles, Pat Grave, and Marcia Buckner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM in St. Peter Catholic Church. Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or the Quincy Humane Society.
