Dan was a caring individual who ensured those less fortunate were taken care of at the holiday season. We will miss him stopping by the Madonna House to see what the families needed or to say hello. His legacy will live on. Condolences to the family. Joanne Dedert, Executive Director, Madonna House.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Lierly, Bill and the rest of the Lierly family. I remember the green car, a Grand Prix, that another poster mentioned, very well. Mr. and Mrs. Lierly enjoyed their home, especially the outdoors in the spring and summer. Lots of good memories from Center Drive..

Grew up in the neighborhood by Monroe School with Bill, always remember Dan coming home from work and taking care of the house or the yard to keep it looking nice. He had a beautiful classic car, want to say Monte Carlo, green, that he took wonderful care of and was the dream of the many neighborhood boys growing up. My condolences to Mrs. Lierly, Bill and the rest of the family. Dan was always nice to us boys that ran around together through the years there.
