Edna Mae Doyle

1957 - 2016

WARSAW, Ill. -- Edna Mae Doyle, 59, of Warsaw, passed away at 4:26 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at Blessing Hospital, Quincy.

Edna was born Aug. 18, 1957, a daughter of Kenneth James and Emma Lee Peterson Huling in LaPlata, Mo. On Aug. 23, 1975, she was united in marriage to Carl Robert "Bob" Doyle in Carthage. He survives.

Edna was a CNA at Keokuk Area Hospital from 1994 until 2001. She had previously delivered The Quincy Herald-Whig for 10 years and had also served as custodian for Warsaw High School.

Edna is survived by her husband, Bob, of Warsaw; two sons, Rodney (Jessica) Doyle of Warsaw and Michael (Amber) Doyle of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Hayden, Jenessa, Noah and Bailey Doyle, and one arriving in March 2017; three step-grandchildren, Kade, Alivia and Grant Myhre; two brothers, Kenneth Eugene (Julie) Huling of Carthage and Darrell Lee (Franny) Huling of Denver, Ill.; three sisters, Susie (Jim) Harrison of Warsaw, Lisa Ann (Christie) Juneman of Las Vegas and Mary Helen (Kurt) Johnson of Bowen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; a brother, David Huling; and her loving companion dog, Abby.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at Printy Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, WARSAW.

VISITATION: 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: A memorial fund has been established.
