Deepest condolences to the Casey family. My son was in Ms. Casey's STRIVE class this year. She was so patient and caring with him, even while dealing with her own struggles. My son misses her very much. We with you all peace in your grief, and joy in memories of such a lovely woman.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to Julia's family and friends. It's times like these when the loving promises of our Heavenly Father such as knowing that we can see our loved ones again can bring us comfort and soften some of the pain we feel in our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13,14

I got to know Julie through the TEC program in Quincy, IL. She was such a sweet young lady and I knew that she would give a lot to this world. She went Christmas Caroling with us and came to our house when my wife and I had a Christmas party for some of the TEC kids. She always had a warm smile and it is a real loss that she was taken so young. Heaven has gotten a very special Angel. I pray that God will Strengthen and Comfort you in your time of loss and sorrow. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Rest in peace Mrs. Casey. I've been part of the D155 STRIVE program now for about 3 years. I'm in lane 4c. I always said hi to her in the hallways at school, she was with lane 1. I always saw Mrs. Casey in the halls wearing her colorful bandanas on her heard. We will all miss you Mrs. Casey. You are now home with our lord. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the Casey family during this time.
