Kenneth Ehrhardt Obituary

CAMP POINT, Ill. -- Kenneth L. Ehrhardt, 52, of Camp Point died at 10:22 p.m. Thursday (Sept, 25, 2008) in the emergency room of Blessing Hospital. Kenneth was born Nov. 8, 1955, in Quincy, a son of Walter and Lauretta Dietrich Ehrhardt. He married Joyce Adair on June 24, 1978, in Coatsburg. She survives. Kenneth worked in swine management for many years at Elm Creek Farms. He was a graduate of Central High School and of Quincy University. Kenneth enjoyed watching football games and was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He loved bowling. Ken also enjoyed his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of Camp Point; a daughter, Alicia M. Ehrhardt and her fiance, Terry Yates, of Clayton; two sons, Joseph W. Ehrhardt and special friend, Amanda, of Clayton and Jon A. Ehrhardt and his wife, Toni, of Quincy; four grandchildren, Hannah and Lily Ehrhardt, Caroline Ehrhardt and Owen Yates; two brothers, Ron-ald Ehrhardt and his wife, Linda, of Quincy and John Ehrhardt and his wife, Cristiana, of Camp Point; and a sister, Brenda Ehrhardt, of Quincy. Cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judith Ulrich; and a brother in infancy. SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday, in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Terry Cain and the Rev. Kurt Hartrich, O.F.M. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. VISITATION: 3 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home, with a prayer service at 3 p.m. MEMORIALS: Are suggested to the family. ARRANGEMENTS: Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
