Lois Ann Parrish age 77 of LaBelle, MO passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Quincy, IL. She was born June 24, 1943, at Palmyra, MO, the daughter of Charles Joy "Buzz" and Violet Aurora Walter Lumley.
She was united in marriage to Elmer V. Parrish on April 28, 1962, in LaBelle, MO.
Surviving are her husband Elmer Parrish of LaBelle, MO, two children, Scott and Dana Parrish of LaBelle, MO, Brenda Parrish of Nashville, TN, one sister Connie Helenthal of Keokuk, IA, four grandchildren Julie Jane Parrish, Dewan Lloyd, Dermane Lloyd and Dajanea Lloyd, seventeen great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Elvin and Barb Parrish of LaBelle, MO, and several nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Darla Parrish, one brother Robert "Bob" Lumley, one sister Marjorie VanWinkle and two brothers-in-law Jack Helenthal and Morris VanWinkle.
Lois Ann graduated from LaBelle High School and John Wood Community College receiving her LPN License. Lois Ann in her earlier years worked at Lumley's Locker and after receiving her LPN License worked at LaBelle Manor for 28 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, tending flowers and spending time with her family. She was a member of the LaBelle Christian Church and enjoyed going to the Christian women's fellowship.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO. Officiating the services will be Reverend John Dungan.
Musical selections will be Precious Memories, I Will Always Love You, How Great Thou Art, I Have Decided to Follow Jesus and Why Me Lord.
Casket bearers will be David Parrish, Kevin Parrish, Jackson Parrish, Craig Parrish, Noah Parrish and Larry Joe Strange.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 9, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Coder funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, MO, 63447.
