Mary Ann Francis Burton, age 61, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 13, 1960 in Louisiana, MO, the daughter of Charles and Joan (Groat) Francis.
Most recently, Mary Ann worked as a waitress at IHOP.
Mary Ann enjoyed scrapbooking, Karaoke, camping and going on trips.
She is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Brandi (Perry) Nixon and Joanna Burton all of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Julia Lynn, Damien (Marranda) Straube, Valinda Nixon and Korbyn Hill.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Sage Lynn and Novah Straube.
SIBLINGS: Kay Bradley, Lori (Steve) Wegs, Joyce (Guy) Emerick, and Michael (Theresa) Francis.
A SPECIAL FRIEND: Tony Ballard along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, a son Shawn Straube, and siblings: Kenny, Leon and Chuck Francis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
