Matthew E. "Matt" Bullock Jr.

1966 - 2016

QUINCY - Matthew E. "Matt" Bullock Jr., 50, of Quincy, died at 9:37 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, in the emergency room at Blessing Hospital.
Born March 20, 1966, in Quincy, Matt was a son of Matthew E. and Mary Allen Bullock Sr.
Matt attended Quincy Public Schools. He worked in various jobs over the years, currently working at Fierge Auto Parts in Quincy for the past several years.
Matt was a member of Rocky Point Club and Twin Oaks Club and was an avid Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and especially riding his motorcycle. He was always ready to have a good time, drink a few beers and help anyone he could.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Bullock of Quincy; his brother and best friend, Marvin Bullock of Quincy; his sister, Melanie Bullock of Quincy; two aunts, Ruth Bentrop and Shirley Allen, both of Quincy; and several cousins and many friends whom Matt loved like family.
Matt was preceded in death by his father, Matthew E. Bullock Sr.; paternal grandparents, Matthew N. and Lillian Pearl Bullock; maternal grandparents, Grover and Theila Allen; and several aunts and uncles.
SERVICES: 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, in Greenmount Cemetery by Pastor Greg Javaux. Friends are invited to attend.
VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation.
