Wow! I am shocked and my heart goes out to Bobby's family! I grew up living next door to Bob, moved away when we both were 12. Bob was one of my best friend's growing up and was exactly like he has been described here, way back then! The whole Cudney family was kind and friendly. Our little group of friends on Anderson drive played a lot of baseball, football and rode the wheels off our bikes! Bobby was always the ringleader organizing our mischief and adventures! A dear friend of my childhood gone way too soon! Your spirit lives on in my memories!

I worked with Bob when I was at WIU. He was my sales representative, but we developed a friendship beyond work. Must have been the downstate boy in him since we both grew up around the Quincy area.

Bob was always available and assisted me when I needed it. We would always get together in Macomb or a user's conference. He is one of those few individuals I miss since retiring.

He was a great family man and always updated me when we talked. He will be greatly missed.

Such sad news. Bob was one of our very first friends when we moved into the Highland Woods neighborhood. He always made us feel welcome and was a big part of our kid's childhood growing up, from soccer and t-ball coach to neighborhood Dad. We have so many memories to cherish. These two photos are from 2003 celebrating our son's birthday. Bob always had a smile on his face. I can still remember his voice, "oh man, this is going to be great" or "isn't this awesome". I can only imagine his face as he enters the gates of Heaven.

My condolences to Maria, Frankie, Patrick and Caroline. Remember we are here for anything you need.

Bobby is one of the most consistently positive and enthusiastic people I have ever known and probably will ever know. The longer you knew Bobby, the more you just took his joy of life for granted. You´d leave even the most minor conversations with him feeling better for no discernible reason. Bobby would always smile and wave no matter what was going on in his life. Of course, you never really appreciate something until it´s no longer available, but I can hear him in my mind´s eye saying with a quick smile and laugh, "It´s all good, buddy!".

Our family sends its sincerest condolences to all of Bobby´s family and loved ones. He is missed.

I worked with Bob for many years at CBORD. He was a great and enthusiastic coworker. I can still remember how he would laugh and rub his hands together when he got excited about something! He also spoke often of his family, and it was clear how much he loved them. My condolences to the whole Cudney family during this difficult time.
