I was shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. We had some good times at SBC, going back to my days in the DSDAC and his days in Construction. But I never seen him smile broader, or seen him look happier than he did at his retirement party held in Quincy. I'm sorry that he didn't have more years of retirement to enjoy. Please accept my most sincere expression of sympathy for your loss. I pray the Lord will assuage your grief, lift you up and give you peace.

Friendship is refreshment and sweetness as we pass this way. It is much to feel that, wherever we are, we have friends, and that their friends are ours as well. My friends, friends are lonely in this hour, but the friendship I felt for him extends to them. Steve was a good freind and he will be missed by us all.

Suzette you are in my familys thoughts and prayers.

To everyone in our family, words seem so lame to me at times like these, I have such a flood of memories as I'm sure you all do. It's the looking into each others eyes that carries meaning and understanding. I'm so sorry Tom and I cannot be there with all of you. It's sad that we are all so far away from each other and as adults have had precious little time together. I'm thinking of each and every one of you and holding you all in my thoughts and prayers. Steve reminds us all to live our lives well and love each other daily.
Much Love to all, Becky
