Tanner Leroy Austin

Tanner Leroy Austin, 20, of 1222 Vermont, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at his home.

He was born Sept. 1, 1996, in Quincy, a son of Michael and Dawn Austin Richards.

Tanner liked piecing together replica guns and modifying computer games. He always knew how to make you laugh. Tanner was very intelligent and was always willing to do anything to help someone. He adored his daughter, Hayden.

Tanner is survived by his parents, Michael and Dawn Richards; his daughter, Hayden; a sister, Tierra Stover, and her boyfriend, Justin Agans; a brother, Kaiden Dawson; and aunts and uncles, Dale (Amy) Austin, Dean (Phyllis Fletcher) Austin, Denise Austin, Deanna (Mike) Barnes and Daniel (Kristi) Austin. Numerous other relatives, including cousins, also survive.

Tanner was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Joyce Austin; aunt, Becky Powell; and several cousins.

SERVICES: 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, at Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Addiction Free in Christ or Riverside Church.
