Terry Michael Meyer Jr., age 58, of Quincy, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:50 am in Blessing Hospital.

Terry was born July 27, 1963 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Terry and Joan Goodman Meyer.

Terry loved to cook. He first started cooking at Terwelp's with his Grandma Meyer and Aunt Joyce. His love of cooking lead him to a career as a cook having worked at several restaurants including Chili's in Omaha, Pinocchio's, Ruby Tuesday, and several others in Quincy and finally at the Blessing Hospital cafeteria. His favorite dishes to prepare included anything BBQ, mac and cheese, fettuccine alfredo, and Crepe Divan. Terry also enjoyed spending time at Aksarben (Nebraska spelled backwards) Racetrack in Nebraska and loved taking his nieces and nephews to the Omaha Zoo. He loved watching college football and was a diehard Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. Terry definitely considered himself a "river rat" and enjoyed fishing with his uncle Bob.
