Tommy Toolate Obituary

QUINCY -- Tommy D. "Tom" Toolate, 53, of Quincy, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017.

He was born to Jesse J. Toolate and Delores L. Toolate on Nov. 15, 1963, in Columbia, Mo.

He was a certified auto-body mechanic. He also received his masonry degree. He loved old music, '40s, '50s, '60s tunes, and had knowledge about the era or band.

Gone too soon; always missed.

He is survived by three children, Thomas D. Toolate of Quincy, Taylour "Tater" Toolate of Quincy and Gavin R. Matlick of Quincy; five sisters, Sandra Toolate of Oklahoma, Brenda Toolate Schlueter of Quincy, Peggy Dungan of Hannibal, Mo., Cammie Pohl of Iowa and Allie Toolate of Iowa; brothers, Marvin Toolate of California, Russell Toolate of New London, Mo., Gary Toolate of Monticello, Mo., Richard Toolate of Quincy and Larry Toolate of Quincy.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; mother; father; two brothers, Roscoe Toolate and Jim Toolate; and a sister, Carolynn Toolate.
