Vicky Lynn Hendrickson, 60, of Quincy, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 11:40 AM at her home in Quincy. She was born on February 7, 1962, in Quincy, the daughter of William and Donna Jones Hendrickson.
Vicky is survived by one son, Benjamin William Hendrickson – Douglas of Quincy, Illinois,
Two daughters: Janelle Nicole (Gavyn) Favre and Ciera Danielle Hendrickson – Douglas, both of Quincy, Illinois.
Two brothers: Ronald (Tracey Potter) Hendrickson of Lima, Illinois, Donald (Kelly) Hendrickson of Mendon, Illinois.
And three sisters: Pamela (Michael) Clow of Fowler, Illinois, Deborah (James) Durst of Quincy, Illinois, and Michelle Marlin of Keokuk, Iowa.
Vicky is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, as well as 10 great nieces and nephews, with two more on the way.
Vicky was also very excited to welcome a grandchild, arriving in January.
Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Patricia Joann Hendrickson, and a brother-in-law: Tim Marlin.
Vicky graduated from Unity High School, Mendon, in 1980 and Quincy University, with a degree in accounting. She worked as a staff accountant at Titan Wheel for over twenty years.
Vicky was an excellent cook and baker, and especially enjoyed making cheesy potatoes and cheese soup, and cookies. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and she had generously rescued many pets. Vicky had a huge heart and was generous in everything she did. The time she spent with her family was the time she most cherished.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 23, 2022, between 4:00 and 7:00 PM at Triplett Funeral Homes of Mendon. No funeral service will be held.
Memorials have been established for Quincy Humane Society.
