Joshua Lynn Altom, 45, of Searcy, Ark., passed away on Jan. 9, 2025. A devoted husband and father, Josh is survived by the love of his life, Kimberly; his two treasured sons, Hunter (and his wife, Kristin) and Hayden; Carina (his daughter not by blood, but by love); his mother, Julie Duke, and her husband, Walter; his father, Lowell Altom, and his wife, Patricia; his brother, Gene Altom, and his wife, Samantha; as well as his in-laws, John and Shirley Barnum, whom Josh always jokingly told he was their favorite son.
The visitation will be heldon Thursday, Jan. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. A celebration of Josh's life will be held on Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. In his honor, please bring an unopened Dr Pepper to the service.
