Linda Kay Kuhn Davis, age 83, of Searcy, Ark., entered into heaven on Feb. 1, 2026, at Unity Health Hospital. She was born in Augusta, Ark., on Nov. 17, 1942, and spent her adult life in Searcy.
Linda was the daughter of Melvin Kuhn and Eloise (Jackson) Kuhn. She graduated May 12, 1960 at the age of 17 from Augusta High School and later moved to Memphis, Tenn., where she lived and worked for several years. In January of 1967, Linda married Billy Rodgers Davis. Together, Billy and Linda went into business and founded Bill Davis Construction, working side by side for many years.
Linda's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She especially loved her morning coffee and watching her favorite lifetime movies. She was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Davis; her brothers, Jan Kuhn and Martin J. Kuhn; and her grandson, Jerrod Harper. She is survived by her sister, Helen Odom, and her husband, Wallace, of Searcy; her daughters, Shauna Harper and her husband, Jamie, of Little Rock, and Lori Swindle and her husband, Kevin, of Searcy; her granddaughters, Ashley Swindle, Natalie Swindle, Emily Swindle, and Tyler Harper; and her great-grandchildren, Kohen Harper, Kamryn Swindle, and Khloe Reeves.
Linda will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, from 6-8 p.m., at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
