Annie Chambers

1931 - 2026

Mrs. Annie Chambers, 94, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026.
Annie Chambers was born on Dec. 13, 1931, in Cleveland, to the late Millard and Frances Yearwood Brewster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Chambers, son-in-law, Jerry Rylee and numerous siblings.
Annie was a loving wife and mother. She was employed with the garment industry for several years and worked as a seamstress for Orbit Manufacturing Company until its closure. She was a long-time floral designer at Connie's Flowers for 23 years. Annie was a faithful Christian and was a secretary for 13 years at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church, where she was also a member. She was named the White County Mother of The Year in 2012.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Ricky Conard, Cleveland; daughter, Connie Rylee, Gainesville; sister, Beulah Massey; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend gratitude to Gateway Health and Rehab for the love and care given to their mother.
Funeral services were held Jan. 21, 2026, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Anderson, Rev. Bobby Griffin, Rev. Steve Smith and Rev. Brandon Hester officiated. Interment followed in Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home prior to the service.
