1975 - 2025

Rhonda Sue Black Anderson, 50, of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 25, 1975, in Gainesville, she was the youngest of three children and a beloved daughter, known for being especially close to her father.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Rhonda lived with grace, gratitude, and unwavering trust in God. Her faith strengthened her throughout her life and guided her with courage during her illness.

Rhonda was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and Georgia State University and built a distinguished career in real estate. She served in leadership roles with CB Richard Ellis and Grubb & Ellis Vanaver, sat on the Board of Directors at Apex Bank, and was a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser in six states. She also founded R&R Gardening and AAA Works Development.

She was known for her extraordinary ability to maintain friendships, her unforgettable laugh, her creativity, and her athletic spirit. Rhonda loved painting, gardening, photography, and playing any sport offered. She was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan who especially enjoyed UGA tailgating with family and friends.

Rhonda leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, friendship, and joy.
Rhonda's greatest joy was her family-especially her beloved daughter, Ruby, with whom she shared a uniquely close and loving bond. She treasured every moment spent creating, traveling, laughing, and growing alongside her. Rhonda is also survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Aaron Anderson, her father Ray Black (Ruth), her sister Tina Palmer (Barry) and her brother Eddie Black (Sonja), sisters Kina Hester (Scott), and Kimberly Rankl (Albert); her sisters-in-law Doris McNelley and Sharon Conoley (Chris), and many nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she brightened.

Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the funeral home.
