WAGNER, Donna Jean

Donna Jean Wagner passed away February 10, 2015 with her dear family near her side at St. Jude Hospital at the age of 61. She was the wife of Stuart E. Wagner. They shared 17 loving years of marriage together.

Born in Whittier, California. she was the daughter of Bill and Clare Townsley. She attended Longfellow Elementary School and later attended Whittier High School graduating in 1971. While at Whittier High School, she was a member of the ASB song leaders. Whether on the drill team, B.A.F. club or simply being busy organizing events, Donna will be remembered as being patient and thoughtful while meeting several demands that were asked of her. While in high school, Donna enjoyed her modeling career for Henshaws. Following high school, Donna attended Rio Hondo College's School of Nursing graduating in 1977. She was employed as an ER nurse for 37 years sharing her employment at both Whittier Presbyterian Hospital for 20 years and St. Jude Hospital for 17 years until her passing.

Donna was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whittier. She thoroughly enjoyed going to Disneyland, gardening, taking drives up to beaches in Carpenteria, going to concerts, and greatly enjoyed watching her daughters softball career. Donna will be remembered for her selflessness, dedication, great sense of humor, and her compassionate love and support she gave for her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ed Wagner; her children, Kristin, Jenny, Jessica, and Nathan; and her grandchildren, Bane, Kash, and Scarlet.

Donna Wagner's memorial service will be held on Friday
February 20th, 2015 at 4:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Whittier 13222 Bailey St. Whittier, Ca 90601.
