Ronald O. Rogers

ROGERS -Ronald O. Rogers. A memorial service will be held November 15, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at the Blain e Community Church in Beaver, Oregon for Ronald O. Rogers. Ronald was born February 2, 1933 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Otis and Lois (Mobley) Rogers and passed away November 3, 2003 in Tillamook, Oregon at the age of 70. Mr. Rogers moved to Loco Hills, New Mexico at the age of 6 year old. He attended High School in Artesi, New Mexico, College at the University of New Mexico and finished his Doctorate in Guidance Control at the University of Southern California. Mr. Rogers worked for Aero Space Corporation as an engineer for 31 years in Southern California. He retired in 1994 by stayed on as consultant for Aero Space Corporation. He moved to Beaver, Oregon and enjoyed inventing things and gun smithing. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Linda Rogers of Beaver, OR; two children, Constance Ervin of Pin'on, CA, and Charles Rogers of Santa Ana, CA; two sisters, LaVerne Gambin of Douglas City, CA, and Bernice Valdez of Santa Fe, New Mexico; one grandchild, Robin Bassett, of Beaver, Oregon; three nephews, Jason Gamb in, Benjamin Valdez and Dr. John Gamblin. A private inurnment was held at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon. Arrangements in care of Waud's Funeral Home, Tillamook, OR.
