Bryce C. Brackett
Bryce Clinton Brackett, 67, of Holliston passed away unexpectedly Monday Dec. 31st at his home. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Theodore and Mabel (Snow) Brackett and husband of Suzanne (Reardon) Brackett for 40 years. Mr. Brackett worked as a facilities manager for Gordon Real Estate for 25 years. He was a proud member of the Holliston VFW Post 8507 and founding member and past president of the Mens Softball League in Holliston. Bryce served his country honorably with the Navy SeaBees during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Corey Kerrigan and her husband Michael of Wyndham, NH; Christopher Brackett and his wife Nancy of Milford; and Nick Brackett of Woburn; three grandchildren; Makayla, Hailey, and Ryan Kerrigan; three brothers; Paul Brackett of Framingham; Ted Brackett of Brewster; and Stephen Brackett of Ashland; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, Jan. 5th at 9:00am in St. Marys Parish in Holliston with burial to following in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours were held Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.

We were so sorry to hear of Bryce.s passing. We had so much fun playing softball together. His cheerful smile and jokes will be missed.

My best friend in High School, I inherited his jersey #44 after he graduated (my senior year). He was the Best Man at our wedding. Shame on us for not staying in touch. Our thoughts are with the entire Bracket Family.

Larry and I had the privilege of knowing Bryce from the time we were in high school in Ashland many years ago. He was always a kind and gentle soul. Our condolences to the family. Bryce will be missed.
