I know I speak for all of her Y friends, that she was like family; she took such great care of us. Huge loss...but I know she would not allow us to feel sad for long. Cheers to you, Dee.

I have known Deirdre since our Guiding days before she left Ireland for Germany.
She was always a wonderful friend so full of energy and life. The world will never be the same without her presence. My deepest sympathy goes to Jeff Shelly David and all the family.
May she rest in peace.

I didn't have a long acquaintance, but I am happy to have had what time there was. With Dee it didn't take a long to appreciate all the characteristics that others are speaking of so eloquently. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Jeff, Shelley and David,
Wonderful Irish spirit of incredibly quick wit and sweet self deprecating humor made such an impression on those of us who knew Dee. Her welcoming nature made our Bunko nights the best of memories. I feel like her spirit is so strong that I can still hear her saying something funny at any situation and for that I will be always grateful to have been called her friend.

May the Lord keep you close and blanket you with peace because I am sure that Dee is keeping him and everyone else in Heaven in stiches.

Hugs and Blessings,
Carol

What laughs the lady could bring. I loved talking to her on the phone, she cracked me up. She was my sister-in-law and I will definitely miss her though we didn't see each other in person that much. Wonder if she has the angels doing water aerobics yet? Love ya Dee.

Whenever I think of Dee, it is usually over a glass of wine, laughing at the stories she could weave, along with dishes to try but don't ask what is in them, laughing all the way. Oh, with her positive attitude and fiery wit, she was truly a remarkable woman. The Nauss family, please know she is always with you in your heart. Love can beat any distance. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of need.

To say Dee was my aerobics teacher in San Diego is to lessen the relationship. She was also a beloved friend to so many here. Neither breakfasts with the girls or Saint Patricks day are the same without her. And her sense of humor and jokes from Ireland will be sorely missed.

Dee was a great friend that I met when we lived in Frankfurt, Germany in the early 80's. She was a sweet, caring girl who always thought of others before herself. I will miss her.
