To the Dugan Family ,
Nicky Dugan will always be very special to me because he was a unique student in my class. Our age 15-21 year class was sponsored by the Carbon-Lehigh I.U. initially operating from Orefield's Jordan Lutheran Church . Nick cheerfully responded to music tapping one's hands & arms,
moving with the other teenagers in the class and loving every minute of the action. He inspired others' to push ahead and do the best possible in completing tasks.During our class performances in the church auditorium Nick was always at his best --I believe it was because he knew his family and fans were applauding him ..and he was happy. I learned from the Dugan family love, kindness, patience and compassion ... essential for my thirty-four year public school teaching career.

Thanks Nicky Dugan for sharing your life with me forty years ago-I learned so much from you ,too.
With Love and Sympathy ,

Mrs. Dugan and family,
I am very sorry to hear about Nick's passing. We had many good times with him in the Sparc Program, but my favorite memory of Nick, was the time we went to Dorney Park and went on the roller coaster. After we returned to the station, Nick held up his hands and said "2". He wanted to ride again, but it almost killed me. I think of you often and send my deepest sympathy to the family.
