Maureen Cioto

Maureen (Shaw) Cioto 74, of Frederick, Maryland formerly of Franklin, died November 3 in Frederick. She as the wife of the late Richard Cioto who died in 1992. Born in Cheshire, England, March 301938, the daughter of the late William and Helen Shaw, Mrs. Cioto was raised in England and had lived in Franklin for 20 years prior to moving to Maryland 20 years ago. She is survived by her children, Caroline Moorehouse of Whitinsville, Dawn Bradley and Domenic Cioto of Frederick, Maryland. She is also survived by her sisters Allie, Edna and Glennie. She was the sister of the late William, Jackie, Eileen, Lorraine, Sadie and Carol. Maureen was the grandmother of Lorraine Moorehouse, Taylor Bradley and Austin Cioto. Her funeral service will be held on Friday November 9 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street Franklin at Noon. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery Franklin. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00-Noon.
