Ian Zachary Wilson, September 10, 1987 - November 5, 2019 (32) of Beverly, MA, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019. He was the loving son of the late Tassa Rose Wilson of Peabody, MA. and beloved grandson of Marv and Polly Wilson of Hamilton, MA. He was a student in the Hamilton-Wenham public school system and was a member of the high school golf team. Ian attended North Shore Community College where he studied animal science and became certified in phlebotomy. Ian was a former drummer for Positive Negative Man and the 28 Degrees Taurus. He toured with 28 Degrees Taurus to major cities in the east and Midwest. He also was a prolific poet. Ian participated in many amateur Junior PGA golf tournaments and for several years was a standard bearer for the Senior PGA Tour. Born in Cambridge, England, Ian loved to travel. He took several family trips to England, Wales, Amsterdam and Israel. Ian also enjoyed visiting Yellowstone National Park and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico with his grandfather. Besides his deceased mother, Tassa Rose Wilson, he leaves loving grandparents Marv and Polly Wilson of Hamilton, an aunt, Phyllis Waldie of Hamilton, and a cousin, Bryan MacVittie of Ipswich. He also leaves an aunt, Nell Wilson of No. Andover, cousins and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: After a long postponement due to Covid, a service of reflections & celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Renewal Church in the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene, 556 Cabot St., No. Beverly, MA. 01915. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Ian Zachary Wilsons memory to Gordon College Office of Development (255 Grapevine Rd., Wenham, MA., 01984) where his grandfather taught for fifty-five years.
