Virginia Hindman Obituary

Virginia E. (Spellman) Hindman, 89, wife of the late Robert C. Hindman died on Wednesday July 6, 2011 after a brief illness at the Carleton Willard Nursing home in Bedford. Mrs. Hindman was born in Boston, the daughter of the late William and Margery (Shugg) Spellman. She was a long time resident of Hamilton and worked many years as a secretary at the Hamilton - Wenham Regional High School. Mrs. Hindman was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hamilton. Mrs. Hindman is survived by her two sons, Dean R. Hindman and his partner David of Boston; Craig A. Hindman and his wife Karen of Glenview, Ill.; one daughter, Cheryl E. Pulkowski and her husband Thomas of Chelmsford; four grandchildren, Scott and Robert Hindman, Edward and Heather Pulkowski; one sister, Barbara Briggs; and several nieces and nephews including Jane F. Pacitto of Norton. Funeral services will be held at the Campbell - Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly (North Beverly location) on Monday, July 11, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
