Dear Amy & Jim, Colaluca & Scavone Families,
My sincerest condolences to everyone. I've known Amy since she was 14 months old & I had the pleasure to work with Jim in middle school. I can't imagine the sorrow you all must feel. However, I know there are many angels, from all of our lives, that are there to watch over baby James.
May you find comfort and strength from your family, friends & each other.
With Sympathy & Understanding,

Dear Jim, Amy & the entire Scavone Family, I just spoke with my mother this morning and she told me of your son's passing. I am so sorry and can't imagine the pain you all must be feeling. My husband and I know all too well what it's like to sit in the NICU and watch your baby cling helplessly to life. It's something no parent should ever have to experience. I wish you peace and strength during this difficult time.

Amy & Jim Scavone & Family,

I was saddened to hear about your loss. I don't know if we ever met through the school, but my daughter a 7th grader came home and told me what happened. My heart goes out to you and your family, it is a great loss. I myself lost a child after two weeks, and I have another child with a heart condition. I understand your pain and grieve with you. May the love and comfort of family and friends help you through this difficult time.

God bless,

Jim, Amy and family,
You don't know me although I was at Nashoba at the same time as Jim and had "Mrs. Scavone" for Geometry. I have been praying for you ever since first hearing about Jamie from the Martels. My heart has been heavy for you all and while I don't understand why God has allowed this to happen, I pray that God would give you peace and comfort as you walk through this. We will remember Jamie as we walk for Children's Hospital on Sunday.
Peace to each of you,

A poem for Jamie

A little life that came our way

Like a beautiful butterfly he
took our breath away

We wonder why he couldn't stay

In our hearts forever and a day

The little life that came our way.

And, when he shall die, Take him and cut him out
in little stars, And he will make the face of Heaven so fine That
all the world will be in love with night And pay no worship to the
garish sun.
Jamie will be the brightest star up there!!! My heart goes out to all of you!
