Please accept my condolences on the loss of Gladys. May her memory comfort your heart; and God help your family during this time of sorrow. Isa.41:13

I have no memories of Gladys. I wish I did. I find it strange that I found her so soon after her death while searching for information about her father-in-law and my Mother's Uncle Charles Francis Foreman, Sr..
So if you find it unusual that I find comfort in this memorial, forgive me, because I do. It's a family connection.

I'm so sorry to miss the service today, but am home with an annoying cold. I have many, many loving and affectionate memories of Gladys. She spent her later years at a resident at Timothy Wheeler House where I got to know her. She always had a smile on her face and was loved by staff and residents alike. We miss her incredibly, and send our best wishes to all her family near and far. She had a very full 101 years of life.

The dearest sweetest woman I have ever known. I too will miss the scrabble and tea, the evenings I got home from work and you would bring me my dinner. The times we walked hand in hand to get chinese food. The wisdom and the friendship I got from you is forever etched in my heart. There will be a brighter star in the sky now and heaven is much more beautiful place. Rip my friend, Love Jody Chandler

I will always treasure the memories of rousing games of Scrabble as a child, learning to bake fantastic cakes at her side, her note of confidence and encouragement when i went off to college and a trip that she and I took to Nova Scotia when I was a teenager. Her spirit and strength remain with me. Hugs and love to her family. Melody J. Cunningham

Gladys was a bright spot at a weekly group called Spiritual Enrichment at Trinitarian Congregational Church. She attended because it was nearby, even though she was not a member there. Gladys often refused rides in her later years, even in bad weather, because she felt it important to walk. She smiled so easily. Who could not miss this lovely soul.
