Edith B. Stratton of Duxbury, passed away on Oct. 7, 2013 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Rodney W. Stratton. Dear sister of William Brown of Holbrook and the late Judith Stratton and Leonard Brown. Daughter of the late Seward and Josephine (Marshall) Brown. Stepmother of Caroline Moran of Abington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Edith was born and raised in Boston. She was a former employee of N.E. Tel and retired from Rockland Federal Credit Union. Edith was an avid golfer. She loved playing cards and listening to Frank Sinatras music as well her husbands singing. Visiting hours were held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
