Sigismund M. Ulich of Duxbury formerly of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Middleboro, died Aug. 8, 2013, at age 80. Dear son of the late Arthur Ulich and Elizabeth (Doering) Ulich, he was the loving husband of the late Ann A. (Atwood) Ulich; cherished father of Dennis M. Ulich and his wife Rosario of Peterboro, N.H., Carl S. Ulich and his wife Marie of Middleboro, Ronald D. Ulich of Duxbury, Shirley A. Lewis of Columbia, S.C., and Anita L. Sullivan And her husband Michael of Duxbury; brother of Horst Ulich of Brockton, Waldemar Ulich and his wife Helen of Rockland and Kurt Petzold and his wife Patsy of Maine and Fla. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Joan Ulich of Pembroke; as well as nine grandchildren, Dominique, Crystal, Justin, Cailin, Katerina, Jacqueline, Kevin, Matthew and Noelle. Sigismund was employed in electronics for Raytheon. He was a member of the Weymouth Elks and the Toastmasters. Mr. Ulich enjoyed skiing and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Visiting hours were held in the Sullivan Funeral 551 Washington St., Hanover, Thursday, Aug. 15, from 5-8 p.m. A service was held at 5 p.m. at the start of visitation. Burial was private.
