David E. Webster
David Elliott Webster, 82, a longtime resident of Phoenix, Az., passed away peacefully in his home on June 17th, 2021 with his wife and daughter by his side. David is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Barbara I. (Reynolds) Webster, brother Donald Webster, son David E. Webster Jr., daughters Kimberly D'zatko (David), Susan Staggs (Thomas), grandchildren Jordyn Webster, Christian Peace, Cassidy D'zatko, Logan D'zatko and great-granddaughter Aria D'zatko. He is predeceased by his mother Frances (Fahey) Webster, Father Elliott Webster and son Shawn Patrick Webster. David was born and raised in the Berkshires, growing up in Pittsfield and graduating from Pittsfield High School in 1956. In 1958, David married his Hinsdale sweetheart Barbara Irene Reynolds. In 1965, David transferred with GE and moved his then family of five to Arizona. In 1967, David's family grew by one more. David continued his career with GE/Honeywell while earning his BS in engineering. David was an active and devoted parishioner of Mission Bell United Methodist Church, serving as lector for several years as well as parish relations and staff committee ministries. David was a devoted husband and father. Pop enjoyed fishing, hunting and the horses. He was an accomplished gambler who frequently beat the odds. Raising his family in Glendale, AZ with a three-year return to Westford, he enjoyed camping and boating with his family and road trips to Rocky Point and San Diego. Following retirement, David and Barbara enjoyed cruising and world-travel and felt blessed for the dear friends made along the way. David read cook-books like they were the great American novel and he was a master in the kitchen and on the grill. David was a salty dog with a reputation for telling off-color jokes in mixed company and he told the best Dad jokes. Celebration of Life will be on June 28th, 10:30 A.M. at the Mission Bell United Methodist Church, 4645 W. Bell Rd. Glendale, Arizona

I remember David from Pittsfield High School. He was a person who loved life with a salty sense of humor, as was said. A very nice person who I am sure will be missed by many.
