Michael P. Byron

Michael P. Byron, of East Falmouth, formerly of Weymouth, died August 9, 2018. Mike was born in Somerville to the late Arthur and Catherine Byron. He grew up in Weymouth and was a 1961 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Mike earned his Bachelors Degree in accounting, graduating in 1965 from Stonehill College. For many years, Mike worked in finance as a state auditor. He devoted over 38 years of his life helping and supporting friends of Bill W. Mike's family and friends will miss his great sense of humor and his bold spirit. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Troiani) Byron and their son Kenneth of East Falmouth. Loving father of Michael Byron and his wife Lisa of Boca Raton, Fla., Adam Byron and his wife Andrea also of Boca Raton, Fla.; and their mother, Kathy Byron of Falmouth. Dear brother of Judith Brennick and her husband Michael of Weymouth, Mary Abbott and her husband Jack of Quincy, Peter Byron of Weymouth and Gregory Byron of Weymouth. Proud Papa of 4 grandchildren; Taylor, Adam, Nathan and Rylee. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Mass on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy, East Falmouth, MA 02536. A burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Falmouth.
