Deb Moody

1957 - 2017

Deb Moody, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017, lifelong resident of Beverly and owner of Cityside Diner, died after a brief illness. She will be remembered as a generous, kind, funny soul who was full of amazing stories. Deb was born in Beverly on March 16, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Marjorie Whitaker Moody and William Lamont Moody. Deb is survived by her brother, Bill Moody and his wife Barbara of Beverly; her sister, Barbara Moody Russell and her husband Dick of Ipswich, MA. Deb also leaves two nieces and two nephews, Elizabeth Moody Zschau and her husband Doug of Manchester-by-the-Sea, and their children, Lily and Jake; Nathaniel C. Moody and his wife, Elizabeth of Essex, MA, and their daughters Alice and Helen; Anne B. Russell and her husband Jeffrey Bamberger of Salisbury, MA and their daughter Kate; and R. Scott Russell and his wife Kelly of Ipswich, MA, and their sons, Liam and Finn. In addition, Deb leaves many good friends, loyal customers, and her beloved dog Maddy. Her memorial services will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody and Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Friday, August 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. As requested there will be no visiting hours.
