Lawrence G. Dedian

Lawrence G. (Larry) Dedian of Hingham, formerly of Dorchester, died September 6, 2016. Larry grew up in Dorchester where his family owned Dedians Market. He had a long sales career in the food industry. He was a devoted member of St. Pauls Parish for over 55 years and active in the community as a CCD teacher and Eucharistic Minister. His family, faith, and work were most important to him, as well as gardening and his passion for life long learning. Larry had a gift for making anyone he met feel special and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Carr) Dedian of Hingham. Devoted father of Patti Gaudet and husband Brian of Norfolk, Joan Dedian of Natick, Larry Dedian and wife Bridget of Hingham, John Dedian and Lily Sokha of Concord, David Dedian and wife Michele of Scarborough, ME, and Brian Dedian and wife Michele of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Meghan and Michaela Gaudet and Samuel, Gregory, Jake, and Olivia Dedian. Loving brother of the late Charles Dedian and wife Eileen and Joseph Dedian and his surviving spouse Virginia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Pauls Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Pauls Cemetery, Hingham.
