I knew Ralph and Phyllis through our activities in Rotary International. We both served as RI District Governors in 1991-92. My Jeannette and I enjoyed their wonderful personalities and good will. Ralph definitely was one of the good ones. My condolences to Phyllis and to the entire family.

The Vigeant familes had been our neighbor so so many years. I knew Ralph and Phyllis also as a rotarian...He was my District Governor when I was President of the Northboro Rotary Club..He was such a warm, sweet man...always laughing, quipping jokes...him and Phyllis were such a team. He was one of a kind...once you met him you could never forget him...and he would anything to help you. I remember when I was inducted as president he was there with Phyllis ..we had such a great time ..I had a senior group from Natick singine all sorts of tunes...with other dignitaries from Rotary and Ralph said some very special words of advice etc, and he gave a little book titled the "Little Engine that Could" I always kept that close for it basically is life...Ralph did everything he could to make the world special. His life was an example of that. I send my love to Phyllis and much prayers to her and the entire Vigeant family. May God Bless you all. Guna

From the moment I met Ralph years ago, he made me feel welcome and part of his big, gregarious family. For an only child, the whirlwind of activity in that Grant street household could have been overwhelming, but that special twinkle in Ralph's eye made me feel right at home! From special effects in make-up for horror movie-making, the many trips up to the camp and the Fryeburg Fair, fishing, frog jumping contests or gardening tips, Ralph made the adventures memorable with his sparkle, levity and warmth. I will always appreciate Ralph's calm, thoughtful manner and will cherish those indelible memories, especially the twinkle in his eye!

I was fortunate to crossed paths many times with Ralph (and Phyllis) through Rotary. My most vivid memory was the 2004 trip to Veracruz where we were part of a major home construction project with Habitat for Humanity. One of the photos from that trip has Ralph with a big smile, sticking his tongue out at me as he placed a cement block up on a wall. He was a gentleman and an honor to know.

Ralph was a wonderful father figure and role model of all that a husband should be. I have never seen a man more respectful and at the same time crazier about his wife than Ralph was for Phyllis. Even at a young age I knew Ralph was brilliant and could have done anything, but family came first, and he poured himself into the family business. So grateful for the times I shared with the Vigeant/Bergeron clan. Praying for you.
