Gordon K. Ricci, of East Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021, at the age of 74. Gordon was the son of the late Mando and Adeline (Fruzzetti) Ricci. He was the beloved husband of Nancy Sweeney Ricci. He grew up in Brockton where he attended Brockton High School. He started his career in the Brockton shoe industry, retiring from Rockport shoe company after 20+ years. He was an avid New England sports fan and loved sharing his artistic and creative talents with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He also leaves his daughter, Marissa Ricci of East Bridgewater, his son, Christopher and his wife Mary Ricci of Braintree; and his grandchildren, Alexandra and Caleb. Gordon also leaves his brother, Peter and his wife Mary Ricci of Berkley; and his sister, Karen and her husband Robert Barnes of Bridgewater; and was also the son-in-law to Esther T. Sweeney of East Bridgewater. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. All are cordially invited to the Chapman Funerals and Cremations (formerly named Prophett Funeral Home), 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, on Sunday, May 2.
