Beverly Jessup Obituary

Beverly June Milgate Jessup died peacefully at home on 28 August 2015. Our Mum was born on 21 June 1942 in Niskayuna, NY to Robert W. Milgate, Sr. and Helen K. Milgate and spent her childhood in Schenectady, NY with her two brothers, Robert W. Milgate, Jr. and Melvin G. Milgate, and her sister, Barbara J. Milgate Stenzel. Married in 1959, she had us in short order, Katherine Lea Jessup Knight and Kimberly Anne Jessup Vaillancourt. Divorced after 10 years, we all moved to Marblehead on 1 January 1973. Marblehead became home. Mum worked for many local companies and made life-long friends. She was proudest of her son-in-law, Ron Knight, and her grandchildren, John Lawrence Knight, III (Jake), William Quinby Vaillancourt (Wil), Michael Joseph Vaillancourt (Joey), and Jackson Lea Knight. A memorial service is planned for 28 August at Chandler Hovey Park at 3 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead. Please visit the online guestbook at
