Cyrus C. Gray Jr.

Cyrus C. Gray, Jr., of Marblehead passed away January 13, 2019 at the age of 87 after a long battle with dementia. He was the beloved husband of Gail Gray with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. He also leaves his three daughters, Letitia Gray and her husband Francisco Li of Edmonds, WA, Kristin Gray and her husband Jeffrey Winge of Golden, CO, and Lesley Gray of Santa Fe, NM, and was Papa to Eliza Fowler and Lilah Winge both of whom he adored. Born in Los Angeles, CA he was the son of late Cyrus C. Gray and Zella Marie (Thomas) Gray. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and David Gray, and his sister, Carolyn Rich. Cy joined the Air Force in 1950 and served in Japan for 3 years. He loved woodworking, gardening, golfing and vacations in Maine. Cy was a natural salesman starting with auto sales in Los Angeles, electronics at Jordan Marsh in Peabody, and then real estate in Marblehead. Visiting hours will be held at Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street on Friday, March, 8 from 3-6PM. Burial will be private.
