Harold was a friend and a mentor who was always great company. He was the first principal to greet me when I became principal of the Bird Elementary School. As an educator, he was ahead of his time and loved to challenge the status quo. He enjoyed the respect of students, staff, and fellow administrators. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
