Frances V. Lawton
Frances Viola Lawton (Mason) of Hudson Massachusetts, graduated to Glory at home surrounded by her family, on March 14, 2021 at the age of 90. Frances was the beloved wife of the late Edward G Lawton. She leaves behind her children and their spouses, Charles and Jane Lawton of NC., George Lawton of MA., Diane and Daniel Sanborn of FL., Marline Bednarski of NH., Cynthia and Brian Walker of MA., Patrica and Mark Missel of MA., and Carole and Anthony Garcia of CA. She also leaves many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Frances served her community in many ways. She was involved in the local school Pen-Pal program for many years, Marlborough womens of the Moose, Maynard VFW Aux., Northboro Grange, Hudson Historical Society, volunteered at the Hudson Senior Center, Meals on Wheels and she was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Frances worked many years as a nurses aid. She was a member of the Saint Lukes Church. Frances will always be remembered for her service, her big heart, generosity, and that famous (LOUD) laugh. She will be greatly missed by all.

Frances was a hoot. And I mean that with the utmost respect. She always was chipper and had no filter. She told you like it was. And when she thought something she said or something you said was funny? You could hear her laugh from a block away.

Our condolences to the Lawton family and our prayers for the peace of God to comfort and cover you like a warm blanket in winter as only God can do. May you have joy in your heart from fond memories and all Glory to God for receiving our sister in glory. Only God can heal our hearts, and only God has a peace that confounds us. Love in Christ.
