Glenn Estabrook 71, formerly of Marlborough, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Fairbanks, Alaska of heart failure. Born in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Clifford A. and Hazel D. (Peck) Estabrook. He was a 1967 graduate of Marlborough Vocational High School. Glenn leaves Regina Jenkins, his loving partner of more than 20 years and her three daughters, Nicole, Sabrina and Michelle and her two grandchildren, Natalie and Kaleb-Keith. Glenn is survived by his five siblings: Warren and his wife, Edith of Marlborough; Beverly of Peabody, MA; Laurel of Albuquerque, NM; Nancy Cates and her husband, Harold of Rochester, NH; and Dean of Albuquerque, NM. He also leaves three nephews, Jason and Jonathan Cates and Randall Estabrook and one niece, Sharon Estabrook. Glenn lived in Alaska for nearly 50 years. He loved exploring the state on road trips and flying to remote areas in his airplane. He was a voracious reader with a keen interest in science, technology and the natural world. He was a supporter of the arts, and for many years he hosted a weekend show on the public radio station, KUAC-FM in Fairbanks. Many people and organizations that he valued benefited from his generosity. His career included working as an electronic technician, tracking NASA satellites, and supervising the installation and maintenance of various systems in public schools. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Marlborough.
